Madrid, Spain — The family of an 85-year-old man is demanding justice after he died following a horrific incident involving a Renfe commuter train.
In July 2022, Salvador became trapped in the doors of a departing train at the Pozuelo de Alarcón station outside Madrid and was dragged along the platform. He suffered devastating injuries, including the loss of several fingers, and died months later from complications.
Nearly four years later, his family released surveillance footage of the incident and filed a formal complaint against Renfe, accusing the train driver of failing to stop even after alarms were triggered.
